Globalization as a process is gaining momentum day by day. It is not just a buzzword heard on news channels or used by academics but has become a concept that ordinary people mention in their daily lives. Although it is a frequently heard word, it is not easy to grasp the complexity of globalization. This course aims to familiarize students with the globalization process. Since globalization takes place in a wide range of fields and is a quite elusive concept, this course attempts to map the overall global developments from economics to environmental issues in connection with world politics.
