The offered train aid is intended for the students of different specialties of direction”Electromechanics” where normative discipline ”Theory of electric drives” is one of major in the system of theoretical preparation of engineers–electricians. This manual can with success be utilized the students of other specialties of electromechanics type.

The fundamental questions of the automated electromechanic theory, properties of electric drives, static and dynamic characteristics of the open-ended and closed-loop systems, are considered in a manual. In addition the standard tuning of adjusting contours, methods of adjusting of electric drive coordinates, different ways of tuning of the systems with one regulator and systems with inferior loops were treated.

Large attention is spared properties and power characteristics of electric drive as a basic user of electric power, and also to the questions of economy and electric power improving.

Also the special attention is spared consideration of dynamic properties of the electromechanical systems, both with hard and by resilient mechanical connections. Exposition materials are based on the wide use of theory of automatic control. Consideration of the frequency-control of electromechanic from positions of the generalized machine in the different systems of coordinates was extended.

Purpose of the book – to help students to understand sophisticated questions of modern electric drives, principles of working and construction of the closed loop systems, and also acquisitions of skills.
